Construction runs freely though the Mittry family veins. The Mittry family has traced back 800 years of ancestry that have worked in the construction trades.
Mittry Construction was founded during the 1950's in the Los Angeles, California area by Kal Mittry. Kal built his business in many facets of construction including bridges, highways, roads, canals, dams, tunnels, buildings, and many other heavy civil engineering projects all thoughout the United States.
Moving north to Redding for a construction job Kal liked the northern California area and decided to relocate his family. Several decades have passed since that move north and the business was passed to the fourth generation Demo Mittry in 1998. Demo runs the daily operations for all the businesses including, Sand and Gravel, Trucking Services, Equipment Sales and Mittry Construction.
